FM says FARA info proves organized attack on Georgia's European future

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili echoed the U.S. Department of Justice’s information on the activities of ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili’s lobbyists, saying “it has confirmed an organized attack on the country’s European future.”

The FM underscored that the Georgian government prioritizes the nation’s European integration and prosperity.

“Unfortunately, in this artificially created process, we saw some European politicians who, intentionally or unintentionally became part of it.

We have a clear roadmap to our European future. We shall maintain the country’s European integration while also looking after our country’s well-being. This is our first priority.” Darchiashvili stated.
