FM meets newly appointed Indian Ambassador

Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held an introductory meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Georgia, Amit Kumar Mishra, who assumed his diplomatic post in March this year.

According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the two sides reviewed the current state of bilateral relations and discussed prospects for further developing cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting highlighted progress in trade and economic ties, while also emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation across a range of sectors.

Botchorishvili wished Ambassador Mishra success in his diplomatic mission in Georgia, the ministry said.
