Ilia Darchiashvili, Georgian Foreign Minister met Javier Colomina, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary-General for Political Affairs and Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
Priority issues of NATO-Georgia political and practical cooperation were discussed at the meeting stressing the significance of the EU’s historical decision, which will also contribute to Georgia’s NATO integration.
The sides spoke about the NATO 2024 Washington Summit and reviewed the regional security challenges.
Javier Colomina reconfirmed the alliance’s unwavering support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
