FM meets Deputy Foreign Minister of Italy

Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Edmondo Cirielli.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the parties spoke about Georgia-Italy partnership, Georgia-EU relations and the significance of Italy’s support for Georgia.

Georgia-EU relations and dialogue in the given geopolitical context were emphasized, focusing on Georgia’s role in the connectivity context and readiness to intensify cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, the sides reconfirmed readiness to continue close cooperation.
