FM: Georgia ready to move onward to get EU candidate status

“Nine years ago, Georgia signed Association Agreement with the EU,” Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili wrote on Facebook.

According to the FM, Georgia has made significant progress toward EU integration, has officially applied for EU membership, and has been granted European Perspective.

“Georgia is ready to move onward and get the candidate status,” Darchiashvili said.
