FM deems Georgian PM's attendance at Erdogan's inauguration 'important'
Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili believes Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s attendance at Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s inauguration is “important.”
According to the FM, “Turkey is a very important actor in the Black Sea region, and therefore, the political cooperation between Georgia and Turkey will bring strong impulses for the countries to jointly strengthen the security of the region.”
“The Prime Minister of Georgia, in very close coordination with him [Erdogan], further strengthens the existing relations between our two countries, and we are sure that under the new term, the President of Turkey will make even more efforts together with us so that our countries become even closer and strengthen economic cooperation,” Darchiashvili said.
