FM Botchorishvili meets with U.S. Ambassador Robin Dunnigan
Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili met with Robin Dunnigan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Georgia.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, the meeting discussed the cooperation agenda between Georgia and the United States, noting that the partnership between the two countries, which is based on common values and interests, requires positive dynamics, the readiness for which has been repeatedly confirmed by the Georgian government.
“The parties noted that the strategic relationship established between the countries over decades provides the best foundation for deepening future cooperation.
The meeting also concerned the security environment and challenges in the region and the world, and therefore, the importance of the United States’ support and cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to work actively to achieve progress in the strategic cooperation between the two countries,” the statement reads.
