FM Botchorishvili meets newly appointed Norwegian Ambassador to Georgia

Georgia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held an introductory meeting with Norway’s newly appointed Ambassador to Georgia, Lise Synnøve Nordgaard.

According to the Georgian Foreign Ministry, the sides discussed current issues in bilateral relations and prospects for future cooperation.

The meeting also addressed cooperation within international organizations.

The sides discussed developments in the region and security challenges, Georgia’s role in the region, and priority areas for international cooperation.

The importance of relations and dialogue with partners based on mutual respect was emphasized.

Botchorishvili wished the Norwegian ambassador success in her future diplomatic activities.
