FM Botchorishvili meets Kazakh colleague during 81st Session of UNGA

Georgian Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met her Kazakh colleague Mukhtar Tleuberdi during the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the two foreign ministers reviewed the strategic partnership and prospects for intensifying bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan. They also focused on the significance of exchanging high-level visits.

Particular attention was paid to the cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan in the development of the Middle Corridor and to strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Maka Botchorishvili expressed condolences to her colleague over the deaths of Kazakh military personnel in a tragedy that occurred during military exercises in the Caspian Sea.
