Strategic partnership with Azerbaijan acquires a significant role per the regional interests, as Georgia is actively involved in the Black Sea submarine electric cable project signed with the European Union, said Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili when reporting to the parliament within Minister’s Hour format.
According to FM Darchiashvili, the project will assign Georgia a new role and function.
“I would like to emphasize the significance of the project, which should add a new role and function to our country when it comes to strengthening the energy security of our country, the region and the European Union,” he said.
