FM believes direct flights facilitate Georgians living abroad to travel to homeland

Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili believes that the decision to restore Russia-Georgia direct flights will facilitate Georgian citizens living in Russia to travel to their homeland.

At the Georgian Diaspora Day annual forum, Darchiashvili said that technical issues lifted and communication problems resolved.

“I reiterate that we did not participate in this process. The decision was made, and we have nothing to add,” he told journalists.
