Flights frequency from Georgia to Germany increases ahead of EURO 2024

Based on applications submitted to the Civil Aviation Agency and approved schedules, four airlines will operate regular flights between Georgia and Germany during the European Football Championship, offering service in eight directions with approximately 30 frequencies per week.

According to the Civil Aviation Agency, this June-July, approximately 30% more flights between Georgia and Germany are planned compared to the same period in 2023.

The planned regular flights with their respective directions and frequencies are as follows:

Georgian Airways:
Tbilisi – Munich – Tbilisi: three times per week
Tbilisi – Berlin – Tbilisi: two times per week
Wizz Air:
Kutaisi – Berlin – Kutaisi: three times per week
Kutaisi – Dortmund – Kutaisi: two times per week
Kutaisi – Memingham – Kutaisi: three times per week
Kutaisi – Hamburg – Kutaisi: two times per week
Kutaisi – Frankfurt – Kutaisi: two times per week
Lufthansa:
Munich – Tbilisi – Munich: ten times per week
Eurowings:
Berlin – Tbilisi – Berlin: one times per week
Dusseldorf – Tbilisi – Dusseldorf: two times per week

In total, flights from Georgia to Europe, including Germany, will be operated by ten airlines across 39 air routes, with a frequency of approximately 130-140 flights per week during June-July 2024.
