First-grade registration for public schools closes today

The final stage of primary school registration for the 2026–2027 academic year in public schools concludes today.

According to the Education Management Information System (EMIS), children can be registered during this phase in public schools where vacancies remain or where places have opened up following the conclusion of earlier rounds.

“Information regarding available places, school shifts, and language sectors across state schools is accessible on the Education Management Information System online portal.

To register, a parent or legal guardian must submit copies of their identification document and the child’s birth certificate to their chosen state school.
