First Georgian-German Judiciary Forum opens in Tbilisi
The first 2-day Georgian-German Judiciary Forum opened in Tbilisi.
The forum aims to bring the Georgian judiciary in line with European standards that serve as “one of the supportive and key tools in Georgia’s EU integration process,” according to Georgian Justice Minister Rati Bregadze, who addressed the participants at the opening.
Angelika Schlunck, State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Justice, leads the German delegation.
Boštjan Škrlec, Vice President of Eurojust – the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation, and representatives of the Georgian legislative government and court as well as the Association of Attorneys and Penitentiary Service, participate in the forum.
