Firefighters-rescuers of the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) participated in the EU-funded training project eNOVATION – Extended Network of CBRN Training Centres for Innovation.

The 3-day full-scale field training aimed to improve the ability to respond to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats and incidents, as well as to strengthen interagency and international coordination.

Representatives from international partner organizations fro the UK, Belgium, Czechia, Italy, Spain, Greece, Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan participated in the training.

The Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Unit of the Rescue Service of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs also participated in this field training.
