Finnish FM: Finland firmly supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, urges Russia to fulfil its 2008 ceasefire commitments
“Finland firmly supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen wrote on social media.
As Valtonen noted, Finland calls on Russia to fulfil its obligations under the 2008 ceasefire agreement.
“Since the 2008 Russian invasion of Georgia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia remain occupied. Finland firmly supports Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We call on Russia to fulfil its commitments under the 2008 ceasefire agreement,” wrote Finnish Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen on social media.
