Fines to be increased for violation of parking rules in Tbilisi

Fines will be increased for violation of parking rules in Tbilisi – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said during the city governmental sitting.

According to Kaladze, the package of the proposed changes has already been approved by the parliament.

Based on changes, parking at Taxi parking sites for other transport means will be fined by 50 GEL instead of 10 GEL. The same amount of fine will be imposed at charging sites allocated for electric cars.

Citizens will be allowed to leave their cars parked and unattended for no longer than 3 months. If a person pays the fine within 10 days term, the amount of the fine will be reduced by 20%.

Tbilisi Mayor said that carrying out of the proposed changes will regulate the current problem regarding parking in Tbilisi.
