At the Winter Olympic Games underway in Milan and Cortina, Georgian figure skater Nika Egadze performed his short programme in the men’s singles, secured 85.11 points, ranked 15th place and qualified for the finals.

Twenty-nine athletes participated in the men’s short programme, and the 24 skaters with the best results advanced to the final, where they will continue their fight for medals.

The top three before the free program look like this: Ilia Malinin (USA) – 108.16 points, Yuma Kagiyama (Japan) – 103.07 points, and Adam Siao Him Fa (France) – 102.55 points.

The free program in this discipline is scheduled for February 13. At the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, Georgia finished fourth in the figure skating team competition, which is a historic result for the country.
