Farmers living in ABL adjacent villages to have their debts for irrigation water services written off

Based on the decree of the Georgian government, the rule for subsidizing irrigation water supply service fees will come into effect from April 1, Georgian Amelioration LLC reported.

According to Georgian Amelioration, special conditions will apply to villages which are located near the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL).

In 2026, the government will fully subsidize all irrigation operations for farmers who are registered in these villages.

The farmers living in villages adjacent to ABL will have their debts as of December 31, 2025, fully written off.
