Farewell to the Patriarch: This is who Georgian nation truly is, knowing what matters most and showing entire world

“Over these five days, we have witnessed a miracle. This is truly the essence of the Georgian nation. We understand what is most important to us, and the rest falls into place, a truth we have shown to the entire world.” Such sentiments were expressed in a special broadcast of GPB First Channel, “Patriarch’s Georgia.”

Diverse representatives from various fields shared their thoughts during the programme. It was highlighted that His Holiness succeeded in uniting the nation through his passing. Hundreds of thousands of citizens, regardless of age, religion, profession, or views, gathered along the path leading to the Cathedral to pay their respects to the Patriarch and to express their love.
