Expanded testing of locals ongoing in Mushevani village

Expanded testing of locals on COVID-19 is ongoing in Mushevani village of Bolnisi Municipality of Kvemo Kartli region.

Bolnisi Mayor Davit Sherazadishvili said that the testing was in progress in preparation to re-opening of the village and possible lifting of Red Status zone. Biological samples are being taken to be sent to Lugar Research Center.

The village of Mushevani was been closed since April 25. There are 80 confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported in the village.

The 192 confirmed COVID-19 cases are recorded in Bolnisi Municipality out of them 172 people recovered and 4 – died. Five people are in quarantine and 4 – remain in self-isolation.
