Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream – Protests at Precinct Election Commissions prove that political entities do not aim at making results precise because recalculation of votes will confirm CEC data
Protests ongoing at Precinct Election Commissions prove that political entities do not aim at making results precise because recalculation of votes will confirm the data that Central Election Commission (CEC) published about 2020 parliamentary elections – Irakli Kobakhidze, Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream Party said.
According to Kobakhidze, recalculation of votes will confirm that opposition had no ground to protest.
“That is why they apply to destruction that reaffirms that elections were held in line with standards. Therefore, I would like to call on political entities to act as it is required by political culture in such developed countries like Georgia. They need to change their attitude toward politics and their own country,” Kobakhidze said.
Protests are ongoing in parallel regime at several district election commissions in Tbilisi.
