The founding Congress of the new party European Socialists unanimously elected Fridon Injia, former member of Tbilisi City Assembly, as chairman of the party.
Members of the Political Council and Revision Commission were also approved through the balloting.
The Political Council is staffed by 9 people: Fridon Injia, Avtandil Enukidze, Davit Zilpimiani, Gela Mikadze, Tamar Kiknadze, Giorgi Maghlakelidze, Bukhuti Chachua, Victor Tsaava and Irakli Ubilava.
On January 5, the Georgian parliament unanimously approved the authority of Davit Zilpimiani, Fridon Injia, and Gela Mikadze, members of the Alliance of Patriots. The party they formed was renamed into European Socialists Party.
