European Council President visits occupation line

European Council President Charles Michel and the EU Monitoring Mission have arrived in the village of Khurvaleti, bordering the occupation line with the Tskhinvali region. He will get acquainted with the situation on the ground.
Before visiting Khurvaleti, European Council President met with the top Georgian officials. Later, he will meet the political parties.
The EU official will attend the EU new office opening and inspect the EU-funded project.
Charles Michel will depart from Georgia on March 2.
