EU Commissioner: Still chance for authorities to reconsider legislative initiative

EU Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, on Wednesday, said, “There is still a chance for the authorities to reconsider this legislative initiative [draft law on transparency of foreign influence].”

“We stand with the Georgian people and their choice for democracy, human rights, fundamental rights, and the rule of law and their choice for a European future for their country,” Varhelyi wrote on X.
