The EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, described a recent meeting with the Prime Minister as very open, frank and substantive, regarding EU-Georgia relations. However, due to its private nature, he refrained from going into specific details.
Speaking ahead of the conference titled “New Security Architecture in Europe and Its Impact on Georgia – One Year from the European Perspective,” the EU Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the event’s significance.
“We are in the middle of an extremely interesting conference, organized by several civil society organizations, on the security architecture in Europe with the brutal war of aggression of Russia against Ukraine. Clearly, such reflection is extremely needed. I am also very pleased that the different think tanks, NGOs, and researchers are present here today in order to reflect on the impact of the war not only on the broader European security but also on the security of Georgia and the Black Sea region,” EU Ambassador said.
