EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, hopes there will be a positive decision about the next steps of Georgia’s EU path.
“My personal expectations are that Georgia will move fast forward on the track towards the membership of the European Union, but it is not enough to wait. The homework is to be done by the Georgians themselves. As you know, Georgia received 12 priorities. The work is ongoing. We will assess the progress that will be made,” Pawel Herczynski said.
According to him, 27 EU member states will make a final assessment on 12 priorities.
“I sincerely hope that there will be a positive decision about the next steps of Georgia’s path towards the EU”, Ambassador added.
