EU Ambassador: COVID-19 vaccines to enter Georgia in coming weeks

“European Union (EU) is working with the Georgian government to see how to unleash COVID-19 vaccines,” EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell announced on Wednesday.

EU Ambassador hopes the Covid-19 vaccine would enter Georgia in the coming weeks.

“I am happy that through the Covax facility, which is where the European Union is the primary sponsor, Georgia is now very high up on the list to get these deliveries. Everyone seems patient to see them coming as soon as possible. I hope they will come in the coming weeks, which will step by step start really demonstrating to everyone that we are starting to see a bit of light at the end of the tunnel,” Hartzell added.
