Estonian FM: EU should impose personal sanctions on individuals violating democracy in Georgia

“The European Union should impose personal sanctions on the Georgian regime, on those individuals who are truly violating democracy,” Margus Tsahkna, Foreign Minister of Estonia, told reporters ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC).

According to Margus Tsahkna, Estonia does that individually.

“We believe the European Union should also impose personal sanctions on the Georgian regime, on those individuals who are truly violating democracy. Estonia has already been doing that individually,” he said.
