Environmental Agency warns of heavy rain and strong winds on October 29
The National Environmental Agency has issued a warning to the public regarding the expected weather conditions in Georgia on October 29.
According to forecasters, rain is expected across the country on October 29, accompanied in some areas by strong westerly winds, possible thunderstorms, and storm surges of 4–5 points at sea.
“The expected precipitation may cause a significant rise in river levels, flash floods in small rivers, and the initiation or activation of landslides and mudflows in hilly and mountainous regions (medium danger level),” the National Environmental Agency said in a statement.
