Enterprise Georgia named as one of the best examples in terms of export promotion and support

The Georgian government agency Enterprise Georgia was named as one of the best examples in the world in terms of export promotion and support within the 2020 World Trade Promotion Organization (WTPO) Awards. The Government of Georgia has released this information.

Georgia is among the six finalist countries. In the finals are organizations that encourage innovative and effective export development initiatives.

The International Trade Centre (ITC)is conducting the competition. The International Trade Centre is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. ITC assists small and medium-sized enterprises in developing and transition economies to become more competitive in global markets, thereby contributing to sustainable economic development within the frameworks of the Aid-for-Trade agenda and the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The winners will be announced at the 13th WTPO Conference in Accra, Ghana, on 14 October.
