Emergency Situations Management Service: Landslide hits Kursebi village, no information on casualties or injuries

A landslide hit the Kursebi village of the Tkibuli Municipality, the Emergency Situations Management Service reported.

According to the Service, various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) are dispatched to the disaster site, and heavy vehicles are deployed.

“Firefighters and rescuers keep on efforts to evacuate locals to a safer place. No information is released about casualties or injuries. We call on locals to refrain from movement and follow the instructions of MIA representatives,” reads the statement from the Emergency Situations Management Service.
