Emergency Situations Management Service dispatches additional firefighting-rescue squads to Gomismta

Emergency Situations Management Service dispatched additional firefighting-rescue squads to Gomismta, a stunning mountain resort in the Guria region of Georgia, in connection with the tourist season.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), personnel, drones, and appropriate specialized fire-rescue equipment have been mobilized in the area to strengthen monitoring and preventive measures.

The Service called on locals and holiday-makers to observe security rules, and in the case of fire or smoke, to notify the 112 Public Safety Command Center.
