Emergency headquarters reviews disaster response efforts in Telavi

Members of the emergency headquarters established to coordinate disaster response efforts in Telavi met to review ongoing recovery operations and discuss the next steps, according to the State Representative’s Administration in the Kakheti region.

The administration said the meeting focused on the progress of current cleanup and recovery work, as well as additional measures planned for the next phase of the response.

Following the meeting, headquarters members visited the affected areas to inspect the ongoing operations on site.

An emergency headquarters was established in Telavi following the disaster, bringing together representatives of both the central and local authorities to coordinate response and recovery efforts.
