Elisashvili on Burchuladze: I don’t know what he meant, Lelo follows its own course

“I have not spoken with Paata Burchuladze for a long time, so I do not know what he meant. Whether it is the ‘Nepal scenario’ or the ‘Zimbabwe scenario,’ I cannot say. I have no idea what the scenario will be,” stated Aleko Elisashvili, one of the leaders of Lelo – Strong Georgia, when commenting on Burchuladze’s remarks.

He emphasized that Lelo follows its own course in the political process.

“We are participating in the elections. We have our own path, our own vision, our own strategy. Of course, some people see things differently, but I cannot say what lies behind their words or what specific plans they may have. As for Paata Burchuladze, I have not been in contact with him for several months and therefore cannot comment on the statements he has made,” Elisashvili added.
