Education Minister visits Cezeri Green Technologies Technical Lyceum in Ankara

The Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, paid a visit to the Cezeri Green Technologies Technical and Vocational Anatolian High School in Ankara. During the visit, Minister Mikanadze toured the educational facilities and was briefed on the academic programmes and institutional operations by the lyceum’s director, İlker Erkmen.

According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Education, discussions with school representatives focused on deepening co-operation between the lyceum and Georgian vocational training institutions. As one of Turkey’s leading modern vocational institutions, the lyceum’s expertise will be vital to improving the learning environment and curriculum across Georgian colleges.

The lyceum’s primary goal is to train qualified specialists in green technologies and modern industry. The institution places a strong emphasis on: Renewable energy (solar, wind, and alternative energy sources); Electrical and electronic systems; Automation and robotics;
Artificial intelligence and computer programming; Energy efficiency and ecologically sustainable technologies.

The school is equipped with modern educational laboratories and practical training spaces, enabling students to gain hands-on experience alongside theoretical knowledge. The institution actively collaborates with both Turkish industrial enterprises and universities, offering students clear pathways for internships and future employment.

The Minister was accompanied on the visit by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Zviad Gabisonia, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Turkey, Archil Kalandia.
