Education Minister visits Beijing University of Technology

Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze visited Beijing University of Technology during his official trip to the People’s Republic of China, where he toured the institution’s academic and training infrastructure.

According to the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the minister was hosted by the university’s Party Secretary and Vice President, who presented the university’s academic programs and development priorities.

During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, placing special emphasis on the long-standing friendly relations between Georgia and the People’s Republic of China.

The discussions focused on opportunities to deepen collaboration between Beijing University of Technology and Georgian higher education institutions. Particular attention was given to the potential sharing of the university’s experience and best practices, especially in the fields of technology and logistics.

According to the Ministry, such cooperation is expected to contribute significantly to the development and improvement of educational programs in Georgia’s higher education system.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed readiness to further develop partnership initiatives and implement joint academic programs.
