Education Minister to pay working visit to China

Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia Givi Mikanadze will undertake a working visit to the People’s Republic of China, the ministry’s press service announced.

At the invitation of China’s Minister of Education, Huai Jinpeng, Mikanadze will participate in the World Chinese Language Conference in Beijing.

During the plenary session, the Georgian Minister will deliver a speech on the concept of education reform in Georgia, highlighting innovations introduced in recent years and the efforts to promote Chinese language instruction in Georgian schools.

As part of the visit, Mikanadze will also tour several educational and technological institutions, including the Nanjing Institute of Railway Transport, Shenzhen Vocational and Technical School, and the headquarters of Huawei. Meetings will focus on expanding cooperation in education, science, and innovation.
