Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs, Givi Mikanadze, opened the Georgian-Azerbaijani Youth Forum alongside Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Azerbaijan, Farid Gayibov, in Baku.
According to the Ministry, the Ministers addressed the forum’s young participants with welcoming speeches and focused on deepening ties between students for further intensification of Georgia-Azerbaijan strategic partnership.
Seminars, cultural activities and cognitive visits to different cities of Azerbaijan will be organized within the framework of the forum. Experts, politicians and young leaders will engage in thematic discussions: Digital Revolution: Challenges and Opportunities.
“The Georgian-Azerbaijani Youth Week, which opened on July 22 and will conclude on July 28, provides an opportunity for students to get to know each other’s culture, and also contributes to the deepening of youth ties and sharing of experiences among students,” the Ministry said.
