Education Minister on Children’s Day: Our foremost duty as adults is to ensure you have happy childhood and to see your dreams come true
Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, has extended his congratulations to children on International Children’s Day.
“My dear children, every day is dedicated to you; our foremost duty as adults is to ensure you a happy childhood, to see your wishes and dreams come true. It is to reflect once more upon this responsibility, and to reaffirm the importance of children’s rights and wellbeing, that we join the global initiative each year and mark the first of June as International Children’s Day.
You are the future of our country, its strength and its greatest hope. It is our obligation to create an environment in this country where you may acquire knowledge of true worth and give full expression to your talents and abilities.
Set yourselves bold ambitions, never cease to learn, and always strive towards discoveries.
With all my heart, I wish you a happy, unconcerned childhood, filled with love, and every success along life’s journey,” writes Mikanadze.
