Education Minister meets Ilia State University representatives
Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, met with the Rector of Ilia State University, Nino Doborjginidze, and university representatives as part of the ongoing higher education reform, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth reported.
According to the ministry, the meeting focused on issues related to the university’s profile development.
“The discussion addressed the improvement of educational programs, the allocation of student admission quotas across academic programs, and the strengthening of teacher education programs.
To review the initiatives planned within the framework of the higher education reform and to inform professors and members of the scientific community, meetings will be held in stages with academic staff at all state universities throughout the country,” the ministry stated.
