Education Minister meets Chinese youth delegation
Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, together with Youth Agency head Aleksandre Kajaia, met with a youth delegation from the People’s Republic of China.
The sides discussed the importance of deepening cooperation between Georgia and China in the youth sector, sharing experience, and strengthening ties between young people in the two countries.
The meeting was held in a question-and-answer format, allowing members of the delegation to receive detailed information on issues of interest to them.
With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth, the Chinese youth delegation is visiting Georgia from August 9 to 15 and is being hosted by the Youth Agency.
As part of the visit, the delegation is scheduled to tour Georgia’s historical and cultural landmarks, museums, and educational institutions. Various activities and masterclasses related to Georgian traditions will also be organized for the visitors.
The visit aims to deepen relations between the two countries, strengthen cultural and people-to-people ties, and promote the exchange of experience in the youth sector, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth said.
