Education Minister: Georgia-China partnership to expand chances for Georgian education, science

Georgian Education Minister Giorgi Amilakhvari stated on Sunday that Georgia-China ties are reaching a “higher stage,” adding that this strategic cooperation includes collaboration in education and research.

According to him, the rapprochement of Georgian and Chinese universities, as well as the funding of exchange programs for students and academics, would expand chances for Georgian education and science.

“We are signing a memorandum that will lay the foundation for mutual cooperation in higher education, research institutes, language learning, and cultural exchange,” he continued.
