Education Minister attends Gori State University commencement ceremony for class of 2026

The Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, attended the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 at Gori State University.

The Minister congratulated the graduates on completing their studies and wished them every success in their future endeavours.

“The years spent at university, alongside imparting academic knowledge, provide invaluable experience that fosters both your professional and personal development. I am certain that you will successfully apply your new knowledge and experience as you embark on this next chapter, continuing to grow and pursuing your career with dignity. I trust that through your knowledge and capabilities, you will bring honour to your homeland and make a vital contribution to Georgia’s progress and development,” Givi Mikanadze stated.

At the conclusion of the event, the Minister, together with the Rector of the University, Aleksandre Mghebrishvili, presented the students with their degree certificates.

Gori State University counts 282 graduates this year. The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Zviad Gabisonia, Member of the Parliament of Georgia Giorgi Sosiashvili, and representatives of the local authorities also congratulated the graduates on the completion of studies.
