Economy Minister: Trump Tower Tbilisi strengthens confidence in Georgia’s economic potential
“International projects of this scale go beyond a specific investment, strengthen confidence in Georgia’s economic potential and long-term prospects, and send a clear signal to the international investment community that all the conditions are in place in Georgia for the successful implementation of large-scale projects,” Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili said at the presentation of the Trump Tower Tbilisi project, which she attended together with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to Kvrivishvili, the project will create new jobs from the outset, promote the exchange of knowledge and experience, contribute to the introduction of modern international standards, and take cooperation between Georgian and international companies to a new level.
The minister also thanked The Trump Organization and the project’s partners in her address.
“I would like to thank the project’s partners — The Trump Organization, Archi Group, Invia and The Sapir Organization — for the trust they have placed in Georgia and for making such a large-scale investment decision.
For our part, the Georgian government will continue creating an investment environment where international capital, Georgian business and Georgia’s long-term economic interests naturally come together and ensure the country’s development into a regional economic hub,” Kvrivishvili said.
