The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili, has departed for London with a delegation to participate in the 34th session of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly, the Ministry of Economy reported.
According to the ministry, Kvrivishvili will address the event—which brings together representatives from more than 150 countries—highlighting current trends in Georgia’s maritime sector, as well as ongoing and planned reforms.
“It is noteworthy that during the visit, the Minister will meet with IMO Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez. Mariam Kvrivishvili is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with her counterpart ministers from several countries represented at the Assembly.
Deputy Minister of Economy Tamar Ioseliani will also take part in the events planned within the framework of the visit to London,” the Ministry of Economy stated.
