Economy Minister holds farewell meeting with Chinese Ambassador

Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Georgia, Zhou Qian, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development said.

According to the ministry, the two sides held detailed discussions on the broad scope of bilateral economic relations between Georgia and China and underscored the strategic partnership between the two countries, noting that it is providing fresh momentum for the expansion of trade, investment, and tourism ties.

During the meeting, Ambassador Zhou invited Kvrivishvili to attend the upcoming World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai.

The minister thanked the ambassador for the invitation and stressed that innovation and digital transformation across various sectors of the economy remain among the Georgian government’s key priorities, according to the ministry.
