Economy Minister discusses strengthening trade and economic cooperation with Kyrgyz Minister of Economy
Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Mariam Kvrivishvili, has met with the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov.
According to information released by the Ministry of Economy, the meeting between the two economic officials took place as part of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze’s official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic.
“During the talks with her Kyrgyz counterpart, Mariam Kvrivishvili noted that strengthening economic ties is a vital aspect of developing cooperation between the two nations. The Minister stated that the Government of Georgia attaches great importance to identifying new avenues for mutually beneficial partnership.
A central point of the ministers’ discussion was the significance and promising future of expanding bilateral trade cooperation. As Mariam Kvrivishvili pointed out, there are vast opportunities in this regard across numerous sectors. Mariam Kvrivishvili also provided the Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce with detailed information regarding Georgia’s investment climate.
The Georgian side expressed both its readiness and keen interest to increase the volume of exports for products already established in the Kyrgyz market,” the Ministry’s statement read.
