ECHR delegation visits Georgia

The delegation of the European Court of Human Rights is visiting Georgia. Supreme Court Chair Nino Kadagidze today hosted President of the European Court of Human Rights, Robert Spano, Strasbourg Court Judge Lado Chanturia, and Section V Registrar Victor Soloveytchik.

According to the Supreme Court press office, Robert Spano expressed his support for Georgia, noting that “Georgia should become a full-fledged member of the European family, and the justice system has an important role on this path.”

ECHR President Robert Spano also held a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
