29 people have been killed and more than 1,600 injured as a 6.8 magnitude earthquake jolts eastern Turkey.
The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) said that rescuers managed to save 43 people from the rubble.
A 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey on the evening of January 24, after more than 220 repeated bouts.
The epicenter was located in the province of Elazig.
